Year Four Work

The children visited a Stuart house. The master of the house wrote letters to his friends. The children tried to write in a similar style and treated the paper with cold tea to make it seem old.
This display shows the type of clothing and weapons that were used in Stuart times.
The Royalists were strong in certain areas of Wales. Some of the houses of the wealthy were almost as strong as castles. Messages were often sent by horsemen carrying letters.
